NUVÉ makes one thing: a glossy tinted lip balm, in twelve shades.

Why only one product

Most of us own a drawer of lip products and finish none of them. Something is too drying, too sticky, too dark for a Tuesday, or it needs a mirror and a steady hand you do not have on the way out of the door. So it gets used twice and lives in a bag until it is thrown away.

We wanted to make the one you actually finish. Sheer enough to put on without looking, buildable when you want more, and comfortable enough that you forget you are wearing it. One swipe, no liner, no mirror.

Why twelve shades

Because sheer colour behaves differently on everyone. A tint blends with your natural lip colour rather than covering it, which is what makes it forgiving — and also why the same shade looks a little different on different people. Twelve gives you room to find the one that suits you rather than the one that was left.

Rosé is where most people start. It is the most universally flattering of the range and the one we would suggest if you are choosing blind.

We are new

NUVÉ has just launched. We have no press quotes, no awards and no customer reviews yet, and we would rather say that plainly than borrow someone else's. When reviews arrive they will be real ones, from people who bought the product.

The same goes for what we claim about the product itself. We will not publish a wear time, an ingredient benefit or a certification until we can evidence it. Where you see a gap on this site, it is a gap we have chosen to leave open rather than fill with something we cannot stand behind.
